As of 2/20 the trails still had pretty good snow cover but with the forecast they will be deteriorating fast. The trails will be groomed today 2/21 and tomorrow morning 2/22.

Chute Pond Snowmobile Club trails are in fair to good EARLY season conditions. Some areas have gravel stretch’s due to this seasons lack of wet heavy snow. Ride right, slow down, & be safe!

The Gillett Sno Atv Rider trails have shaped up well with the fresh snowfall. All trails are in fair to good condition and the groomers will continue to be out throughout the week.

Trails were all groomed this week but areas where the sun hits and anything plowed are VERY thin, or bare. There are plenty of good areas, but many will deteriorate quickly this weekend with the warm temps and sun exposure. We will not be grooming this weekend, as there is simply nothing there to work with. Oconto Falls Sno Jokers trails will close 2/24 at 6 am. In the meantime, enjoy, and stay on the trail.

Trails came together last night and we have a flat solid base of snow on our wider trails. The narrow trails still have a thin base.

Trails in the Townsend area are a little thin but holding up good due to the cold weather this week -6 this morning. We will again be grooming later this week. With no snow in the forecast and warmer weather next week Oconto County is threatening to shut the trail system down early so ride while you can. It’s definitely still winter up north

Lakewood Cross Country Ski Trails

The entire trail is groomed for classic and skating. Double track is set in some areas. (Mostly near the main parking areas.) Grooming was completed on the entire trail system on 2-15. On 2-16 the trail was re-groomed between 0k-16.5k. (Golf Course to Smyth Road) Conditions are very good. Use your "A" skis. Tracks are full depth. The skate deck is a little soft in some areas but the cold temperatures early in the week will help firm things up.
