Discover a rewarding hike leading to a proudly hidden gem in Oconto County offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The moderate round-trip hike is approximately two miles and culminates in a spectacular vista. This site is also reportedly a geocaching location.

Directions (from downtown Lakewood, WI):

1. Head north on F until you reach Knowles Creek Road. Turn left onto Knowles Creek Road.
2. Continue on Knowles Creek Road until you encounter a fork.
3. At the fork, bear left to continue on Knowles Creek Road. Do not proceed straight/right onto McCaslin Tower Road.
4. As you continue on Knowles Creek Road, you should observe a lake on your right, followed by a campsite further down on your left.
5. After passing the campsite, locate the third trail on your left. This trail is numbered 2781 and may be marked with a mini-snowmobile stop sign.
6. Follow Trail 2781 (suitable for driving, but be aware of potential large puddles and deep mud) until the road becomes impassable for vehicles.
7. At this point, you will reach another fork. Take the right side of the fork; this segment of the trail is numbered 2349B. (A large mud puddle is often present at the base of this section.)
8. Continue on Trail 2349B until you arrive at another fork. Here, take the left side, which presents a steeper incline than the right.
9. Follow this uphill path to the top, which leads directly to the rock formation.
